Amazing. On Feb 15th in Coventry there was a major launch event for a new type of engine. A new type of engine. A new, better and cleaner, type of engine — one which is not some theoretical pipe-dream, but which has undergone more than ten years of R&D, is fully patented, and is now at the in-car 4-cylinder demonstration stage. Yet no-one seems to have noticed. Even Advantage West Midlands only managed to announce it the world four days after the launch event…

“… a landmark launch event that was held at Coventry University in the United Kingdom on February 15th. The seminar marked the unveiling of a new combustion system, MUSIC (Merritt Un-throttled Spark Ignition Combustion) …”

There’s no pre-event reference to the event that Google News knows about. There appears to have been no news or media coverage since the event. For a new kind of engine, for goodness sake? What are Midlands publicity & region-marketing types snorting? Horse tranquilizers?
