Figurative realist painter Neil Moore now has his own smart new website online. You may remember he was the painter who was the subject of a ridiculous attempt at censorship when his home-town gallery, the Royal Pump Rooms galleries at Leamington Spa, pulled his solo show in summer 2006.

He’s running a Life Drawing & Painting School, 8th-10th July 08 (10am – 4.30pm) at Shottery Memorial Hall, which is just about within easy walking distance of Stratford-upon-Avon train station…

“A real treat for those who long to have a substantial opportunity to work from the figure. The mornings will be primarily devoted to drawing and the afternoons to working with colour (painting or drawing) when the model will be in a single pose. The cost is £120 – prebooking is essential.”

It’s part of the 2008 Warwickshire Artsweek.
