Released on CD at long last, Bachdenkel’s Lemmings (1970) album.

Bachdenkel were a psychedelic rock band from south Birmingham, who Rolling Stone called “Britain’s Greatest Unknown Group”. The entire band went to live in France once the UK scene started to reach the “selling hippy wigs in Woolworths” stage, to tour and work on their music (I’m simplifying; full history at www.bachdenkel.com), although they were often back in the UK; in summer of ’69 to stage free concerts with Black Sabbath in Birmingham, and for a string of university gigs in 1970. Have a taster track from the album, An Appointment With The Master…

A welcome blast from the past. My old man used to knock around with this lot.
