I went down to Birmingham to visit the re:location building (the follow-up show to Intervention) – eighty artists take over a disused X-ray factory. One major train derailment (five days of delays!), two stuffy coach replacements, only three hours of sleep, and the sweltering weather were my unwelcome travelling companions. So it was some sort of minor miracle that the journey there and back was quite tolerable and actually on time. Anyway; the official web-site for the show will be at (not yet live). It looks like I’ll probably be a lead artist. It’s still early days; any interested artists should pop along to the first Open Day on Saturday 19th July from 11am to 3pm – at the X-Ray Factory, Forge Lane, Smethwick.
