Hhhmm… I was finally persuaded to download and install Internet Explorer 7. Not a pleasant experience, as it stomped on my wireless connection settings (although soon auto-fixed with a quick flick of the “repair” button) and also decided to have a merry dance with my browser buttons and toolbars. But after an hour of fiddling with the options and re-ordering links, I can now see that it’s far more logically organised than IE6 was. It’ll take a bit of getting used to, though — although it’s already made me like tabbed browsing, something that Firefox never achieved. It’s also inherently loveable because it has a built-in Flash toggle. Go: “Tools / Manage Add-ons” and you can quickly toggle Flash on and off! Bliss.
