A brush with fame:
See famous paintings by masters ranging from Van Gogh to Picasso, up close, at the Radio House Gallery in Swan Street, Warwick (Free registration required). Or not; the catch is that they’re all perfect expert-fooling fakes made by John Myatt, the master forger from Sugnall in Staffordshire. Hollywood star Michael Douglas is reported to have paid £1 million for the film rights to Myatt’s life story.

New long-distance cycle-path:
A new long-distance cycle-way is to be built in South Birmingham, at the cost of £500,000. Presumably it’ll be part of the magnificent SUSTRANS national network. The path will run off-road from Digbeth, down to Solihull, eventually reaching Coventry and then on to Rugby.

Tony gets something right, for once.
