The museums and archives of the Black Country are inviting coders to their WAG Hack Day on Saturday 16th April 2011 (10am-6pm) at The Public in West Bromwich. The aim of the day is to mash or filter the metadata that’s powering the new Black Country History website, which offers complete online access to records of the arts and heritage collections of the area. This can be done through an open API, although it’s limited to 100 requests per hour.
