Rea Garden

Filed under: Artist(s), Birmingham, Regeneration — site admin @ in the early morning

A fab opportunity in Birmingham…

The Rea Garden [aka Secret Garden Project] is an outdoor artist project space in Birmingham, run and managed by artist group Behind Closed Doors. A new residency will commence January 2010. The selected artist will have access to work in The Rea Garden for 10 weeks. This will culminate in a two week exhibition, open to the public with a private viewing. There is a bursary of £1,000 to cover artists’ fees, as well as a budget of up to £500 for materials and equipment. Behind Closed Doors are highly interested in site specific artworks related to The Rea Garden. See the web page for more details.”
